June Haitus

So, if you couldn't tell, I somewhat took the month of June off Blogging wise. It wasn't intentional, but it was a busier month than expected. Here is a recap on things that went on in June. I'll make sure to fill you in soon!

Batchlorette Party - June 6 - I went to the best batchlorette party. We had an amazing time. I guess when you have 10 bridesmaids at least one or two will know how to throw a party. This was started with champagne, make your own pizzas, bride/groom catchphrase then lead into a great time at a fun club and ended with Taco C!

Puerto Rico - June 9 - 14 - We went to Puerto Rico for another good friend's wedding. Her now husband is Puerto Rican and let me tell you, they know how to party too! If you haven't been to Puerto Rico, I highly recommend it. Great beaches, nice people, clean water, beautiful architecture, and just overall wonderful atmosphere!

Personal Trainer - After June 14 - After going to Puerto Rico I decided to get serious about working out and now have a really cool personal trainer. He is great! He pushes me without trying to kill me. I'm already starting to notice my clothes fitting better and am getting use to this sore yet stronger feeling. I'm excited to see what is to come with Rockett!

Wedding Number 3 - June 20 - This was a great wedding and I'm so glad I went. I really got to catch up with some great people from college. It was great to hear what they were up to and their plans for after college. The wedding was beautiful and the couple was incredibly adorable!

House Hunting Continued - So the thought to be dream home had an option on it, then didn't, then was taken off the market. Weird, huh? We viewed two more townhomes and they just weren't the one for different reasons. I have a few more on the list, so hopefully those won't disappoint. I've now realized this is going to take a while to get all the things I want.

Business Plan - So I have been on the internet lately.... I've now taken on setting up and running our company's website, social media and resource information. I'm so excited to be doing some real marketing and branding work. I wish I had more time at work to work on it, right now it has mostly been what I can get done at home or on the weekend which has eaten into my blogging time..ekk!

Girls Day Out - June 27 - This was a great idea planned by an awesome friend! We had an all girls cookout and swim party. It was the most organized swim/bbq I have ever seen. I expected hamburgers and hot dogs instead we had brochetta and kabobs. Such a great escape. No one was at the pool for the first few hours either. Our own private retreat at a public pool...who knew? Great time ladies!

Things coming up in July - Self Improvement Sundays, more on Business Plan/Marketing/Social Media, Personal Trainer updates, House Hunt 2009, more weddings, baseball games and more that I can't think of right now. Get excited it is going to be a great yet busy summer!
